*Valkoinen talo* (The White House) continues the successful series of Jani Toivola’s acclaimed solo works, *Rakkaudesta* (On Love) and *Pantteri ja minä* (The Panther and Me). *Valkoinen talo* invites the audience to a new kind of table. Everyone is, as always, welcome exactly as they are.

*Valkoinen talo* is a story about silence and power, and about a sense of otherness that makes it nearly impossible to breathe. It is a story about skin and its history, the striving to forgive, and new ways of finding connection.

“It is easier to stay quiet. To suppress it all and focus on building bridges. After all, the world wouldn’t function without those of us who reach out to one another. But what happens to everything that is never spoken aloud? Generation after generation rendered mute by anger. I feel the time has come to say what has never been said. I would gladly walk into the dawn together with others, but first, we must dare to speak. Within that moment—which feels insurmountable—there is also hope. The ruins left by pain, and the beginning of something new. The first glance and the first reaching out. A shared table and the first evening of the future. Welcome to join us.
