This concert brings to the stage a collection of songs from various decades that strike a chord deep within the Finnish heart. Club For Five explores what it means to be Finnish from their own perspective, weaving together music and memories. Guided by the vocal ensemble, the audience journeys across Finland, marveling at both gems of domestic music and the rising stars of the future. Through the voices of these five singers, the concert maps out what great Finns are made of and the essence of the Finnish identity.
From ancient folk traditions to whimsical fads of the moment, Finnish melodies capture real life while shaping our identity and reflecting the character of our resilient people. Our shared cultural DNA holds a vast array of influences—spanning from Katri Helena to Nightwish, from Dingo to the band Kuumaa, and from Georg Malmstén to Juha Tapio.
